The 17 chronological sections of the exhibition “Michelangelo architect in Rome” starts from the relationship with Pope Julius II della Rovere, and his tomb, which occupied him until his last day, at the big order of Paul III Farnese as corrections to the Piazza del Capitol, before moving on to finish the Palazzo Farnese and the great role of the architect of the Fabbrica di San Pietro. Not to mention the plans for the church of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini and Porta Pia, the Sforza Chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the amendments to the Baths of Diocletian.
